Participants in our BLS Training course gain practical experience through hands-on practice and scenario-based simulations. They learn how to perform high-quality CPR, deliver effective ventilations, assess the need for defibrillation, and work collaboratively as a team during emergency situations. After taking the BLS course, participants will receive there 2 year certification from American Heart Association.

Course Content

  • Recognition of Cardiac Arrest: Participants learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms of cardiac arrest, including the absence of responsiveness, lack of normal breathing, and absence of a pulse.
  • High-Quality CPR: Participants acquire proficiency in performing high-quality CPR techniques, including chest compressions, rescue breaths, and proper hand placement and compression depth.
  • Use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs): Participants learn how to use an AED to deliver timely and effective defibrillation to individuals experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.
  • Relief of Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (Choking): Participants learn how to recognize and respond to choking emergencies in both adults and infants.
  • Special Considerations: Participants gain an understanding of special considerations during CPR, such as performing CPR on pregnant women and individuals with opioid overdose.
